Myanmar soldiers and polices who had taken control the unrest parts of Rakhine state, western Myanmar, injured by the armed Bengali rioters, are not still shooting back to those Bengalis, The Voice Weekly correspondent reported from Sittwe.
Localities told the Voice Weekly that soldiers only shot to the upward despite the Bengali rioters shot to the security forces. One soldier was wounded badly and now at Sittwe Hospital; local people comfirmed.
According to local witnesses,there are so many injured Rakhine ethnic people at Hospitel at Sittwe, the provincial capital.
Bengali migrant rioters burnt hundreds of houses in Rakhine state where the conflicts are happening which was started by a spark of rape case committed by three Bengalis to a local Rakhine ethnic girl at 28th May in Yan-byel township of Rakhine border with Bangladesh.
“Even in the daytime, they(Bengalis) used guns, how about for the night?” said a local man to the Voice Weekly.
